Exciting aromas are coming out of the kitchen with the Scones & Samosas Cooking Group!
“Some of the women who come to the English class also want to learn how to cook British food such as scones, Yorkshire pudding and sponges.” organiser, Michelle Moyle, said, “They are also very keen to teach us how to cook South Asian food.”
The group runs on Tuesdays from 9.30am until 11.00am in term time. It will be for women only.
The group also provided food and helpers for an English Tea Party themed stall at the World Curry Festival. It made a lovely contrast to the delicious spices and was visited by hundreds of people, including food blogger Kelly McKenny, “Adventures in Tea and Cake.”
Saint Paul’s Church is situated on Church Street Manningham, BD8 7NP behind Manningham Library. The bus service is the 620.
Scones and Samosas is part of the Sharakat Community Initiative. If you have any questions, contact Michelle Moyle.
