Prayer for the homeless

Loving God, it was not your plan that anyone should be without a place to call home, we pray for all people who are experiencing homelessness.

We pray for our politicians and decision-makers, and for those who are helping homeless people.

Open our eyes to the needs within our communities; give us wisdom to respond and courage to challenge the injustice of homelessness.

Background to Sharakat Drop in Café

The Sharakat project aims to serve the local community in a way that fosters well-being, includes the marginalised and encourages cross cultural and cross faith relationships. The Drop in Café is a practical sign of these aims.
