Creative Conversations are held in various places from Business Centres to the various sacred spaces in our city.
‘Creating a positive future begins in human conversation. The simplest and most powerful investment any member of a community or organisation may make in renewal is to begin talking with other people as though the answers mattered.’ William Grieder.
Creative Conversations are about women from different faith groups coming together and sharing their opinions. These conversations are organised and hosted by at least one person who welcomes participants and introduces the process and agreements (‘ground rules’). This process and the agreements create the minimal structure that allows even strangers to quickly get into deep, compassionate discussions.
With topics from the creative and sometimes controversial relationship between religion, style and fashion to the media and how it influences our lives, and with lots of topics in the pipeline for future conversations, we’d love to hear what you have to say! Thanks to a generous donation from the Co-operative Membership Community Fund & Near Neighbours, all these events are free with refreshments and snacks provided.
